Ele[men]t
Ele[men]t is an observational cohort study of young black men who have sex with men (MSM) in Atlanta aimed at better understanding patterns of substance use and sexual risk. Participants are asked to complete a detailed computer-based questionnaire and to receive HIV testing and counseling along with STI and substance use testing. Element is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
