Xenia got her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia State University in 2019 and her Master of Public Health from Mercer University’s College of Health Professions in 2022. Previously, Xenia worked with GNR Public Health (GA public health district 3-4) as the HIV Health Educator. Here, she specialized in engaging the community members of these counties on HIV awareness and prevention through outreach, collaborations, surveillance, reporting, and point-of-care services (i.e., rapid testing). She joined Emory University’s PRISM Health in August 2023 to assist with the iKnow Study. She was born in Atlanta, but her family is from El Salvador.
