Kayla received her BA in Anthropology from Oberlin College in 2013 and her MPH in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory University in 2018. At Emory she focused on issues related to sexual health, stigma, and health disparities, producing a capstone project about racial disparities in contraceptive access. After graduating, she worked as a program consultant for the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential's sex education programming. She joined PRISM Health in 2018 to work on the HealthMindr pilot study. Kayla spends most of her free time coaching Emory's women's ultimate frisbee team and playing in the first professional women's ultimate league with Atlanta Soul.
