Key Population Implementation Science (KPIS) South Africa
The Khanyisa (meaning "Shine the Light") is an implementation trial to investigate the effectiveness of a package of interventions to improve HIV treatment in MSM. The purpose is to identify MSM living with HIV, link them to care, retain them in care, and support adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) to achieve viral suppression. The overall objective is to optimize the HIV treatment cascade for MSM in six urban, peri-urban, and rural settings in South Africa.
