The COMPASS (COMmitment to Partnership in Addressing HIV/AIDS in Southern States) Initiative® is working to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Southern United States by partnering with local communities and supporting evidence-based solutions to meet the needs of people living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS. The initiative brings together three Coordinating Centers to create collaborative partnerships, increase organizational capacity, build awareness, reduce HIV-related stigma, advance education, share knowledge, and promote the well-being of individuals though mental health services and trauma-informed care.
